Our team

Hallie Kline Ms, lpc associate

I work with teens 16+, adults, and couples. My approach to therapy and wellness is holistic. I will see you for all of what makes you who you are, versus focusing on one part of you. I believe in the power of the mind and body connection and ways we can incorporate physical and social remedies into healing. My goal is to help my clients feel empowered and capable to reach and maintain their desired goals. In a safe, warm, and empowering environment, I will help you unpack past and previous experiences that have dead to where you are today. I enjoy working with those who feel they have a difficult time connecting with others on an emotional level and do not understand why. I have interests in working with anxiety, OCD, addictions, trauma, intimacy/relationship issues, attachment issues/codependency, and low self-esteem. I work comfortable with different multicultural issues, existential issues, military, and the LGBTQ+ population. I am a body-positive enthusiast and an advocate for breaking the stigma on substance use addictions.

My primary theoretical orientation is Humanistic, and I conceptualize from an Adlerian perspective. Using this approach, I will help you explore important early memories, your family dynamic, and how they contribute to your current connection with the world and others. I will help you identify and become aware of the meaning behind thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I use strength-based approaches that recognize the client’s ability to grow and develop problem solving skills and insight.

Using an emotionally-focused approach, I am passionate about helping couples identify attachment wounds and different perspectives to enhance their emotional and physical connection. I’m also certified in Prepare/Enrich to help premarital and married couples strengthen their relationships and learn skills to navigate the challenges that naturally come with having a life partner. Using Prepare/Enrich, there is an assessment portion for the couples to complete followed by feedback and process sessions. For premarital couples, this participation is recognized by Texas as an adequate premarital preparation course, which qualifies candidates to receive a discount up to $60 when they apply for their marriage license. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Emilee Aschenbrenner, LPC-S. I earned by M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. I received by B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Texas with dual minors in Criminal Justice and Addiction Studies which focused on the treatment for substance use, and met the criteria for a License in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I have experience providing individual and group therapy services in a residential facility for those seeking treatment for substance addictions and co-occurring issues. From my previous experience as Office Manager at Luxx Therapy, I know how difficult it can be to reach out for counseling and I aim to make the counseling experience feel comfortable and authentic.

I hope to talk to you soon!
